Soumya Hota

Soumya “Situ” Hota, age 40, entered the heavenly realm on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She is survived by her parents, Satya and Sanjukta Hota, her brother, Alok Hota, and sister-in-law, Suman Panda.

Situ was a true angel, a joyous and vibrant soul, limited only physically by Rett Syndrome. While this kept her primarily at home, she touched the lives of all those who met her with her beautiful, sweet smile. She enjoyed being among family and friends, traveling, listening to music, and watching butterflies in the garden.

A celebration of her life will be on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 1:30 PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home at 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday. Priest service will be at 2 PM, followed by cremation.
