Stephen Nicholas Terwilliger age 56, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Stephen was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was a true warrior that loved the outdoors and all that life gave him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Floyd Pete Terwilliger; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Survived by mother, Cora Alice Ward Terwilliger; son, Nicholas (Stephanie) Terwilliger; grandsons, Carson and Wyatt Terwilliger; brothers, Dwight and James Lewis; sisters, Nancy (Noel) Harding, Alice Jane Williams and Shelia Reese; nieces, Morgan Jane and Lacy; nephews, Dwight, Winston, Cody, James, and Ronnie. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Phillip Boyd, Jr., Heather Martin, and Tana Hertz his nurse for their endless help and support. Service time is 2:00p.m. on Tuesday, June 2 2015 at West Harpeth Funeral Home, Eddie Vanatta will be officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 12:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:00a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
