Susan Gaynel Duncan of Old Hickory, TN passed away at her residence on Tuesday October 6, 2020. She was 68 years old.

Gaynel is survived by her daughter Allison Duncan Madden (John); and grandson Jacob Shadowens. She is preceded in death by her parents JB and Susie Cripps; & Gwen.

Born in Chicago, IL on Sunday March 16, 1952, Gaynel was always known for her vivacious personality and her friendly spirit. She never met a stranger. Music was important to Gaynel and she would share this passion with her grandson Jacob as they were nearly expert at naming the artist and title to most any song played. Gaynel loved to spend time with her family, especially Jacob. Her spirited energy and caring ways will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

Visitation for Gaynel is set for Saturday October 10, 2020 from 10:00am-1:00pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00pm, all at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209.
