Sutton Carter

Sutton Elizabeth Carter passed away in her parents' arms at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on June 14, 2014. After arriving 19 weeks too early, she passed gently into the arms of Jesus. She is the answer to her parents' prayers and the joy of their lives. During her two hours of life, she was held close by her parents and grandparents and showed great strength. She touched so many hearts during her brief stay here on earth and will be greatly missed.

Sutton is survived by her parents, Christopher and Holly Carter of Nashville, TN; grandparents, Lou & Sharon Miller of Rocky Mount, NC; Gayle Spoonamore of Danville, KY; Gary Carter (Mimi Rogers) of Stanford, KY; great-grandparents, Carl & Mary Carter of Stanford, KY; Kate Spoonamore of Stanford, KY; along with many of her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was greeted in heaven by her paternal great-grandfather, George O. Spoonamore III (Daddy O) and maternal great-grandmother, June Elizabeth Massie Ward (Nanny June).
