William Anthony “Tony” DeWesee, 74 of Pegram, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. He was a West Nashville Native. Tony was born on December 8, 1949, the son of Paul Moore and Catherine Jennette. He attended Cohn High School. Tony proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He is a Vietnam veteran.

He enjoyed hunting, and in his later years, he enjoyed playing cornhole. He was a skilled carpenter who could fix and do almost anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Calvin Gray and Pam Gliga.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elaine; children, Tonia Drake (Kevin) and William Anthony DeWesee, Jr. (Carrie); grandchildren, Danielle DeWesee, Bionca DeWesee, Karissa DeWesee, William Anthony "Will" DeWesee, III, Meagan DeWesee, Alexander DeWesee, Rachel Beth Drake, and Benjamin Drake; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Humphrey and Luca Mills; and siblings, Linda Sue Gabrish, Tina Mutschall, Wayne Moore, Linda Crook, Peggy Neighbors, Cheryl Johnson, DeeDee Rogers, and Barbara Berlin.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday, December 9, 2024, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday December 10, 2024, in the Rotunda at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located at 7931 McCrory Lane in Nashville.
