Gertrude Dorothy Woodall Sutton, left us on Dec 21st 2016. Married to Andrew Thomas Sutton for 39 years , whom we lost in 1986. Their first child, Andrew Thomas Sutton 2nd we lost in 1988. The last of eight children from Maude Lillian Burke and James Harvey Woodall, three boys; Vester Harvey, James Elan and Francis Kreig; five girls, Francis Lily Bell, Mary Kathryn, Hazel Mavoline, Christine Kreig, and Trudy. She is survived by sons, William Sutton and Micheal Sutton; Five Granchildren, Jesse Sutton, Danielle Pairmore, Hanna Tierney, Micheal Sutton and Caleb Sutton; Three Great Grandchildren Lovelyn Tierney , Lucas Tierney and Isabelle Sutton She loved life and was always trying to help fill any need she saw. She loved gardening, bird watching, and was a self taught seamstress. She also loved to play piano. Visitation will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday Dec 23rd. Funeral service at 9:00am Saturday, then on to Woodlawn Cemetery where she will lay next to her son, Andrew Thomas Sutton.
