Virginia Ruth "Oosh" Maynard, daughter of Francis and Jennie Maynard, was born September 19th, 1931 and passed away Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 in Nashville, TN at 86 years of age. She was born in Nashville, TN where she lived her entire life. Virginia worked at American General Insurance Company for over 30 years as a tape librarian in the company's data center. Her favorite thing to do was to spoil her nieces and nephews and love them like they were her own children. Virginia faithfully attended Hillview Church of Christ for decades.

She is survived by her sister Geraldine Rigsby, and her nieces and nephews Pam, Jeff, Jeannie, Doug, Kim, Kelly and Kyle, and many more great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Francis and Jennie Maynard, sisters Juanita Dillingham and Martha Sue Trisdale, and brothers in law Jack Rigsby and Red Dillingham.

Visitation will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 660 Thompson Ln., Nashville, TN 37204. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
