Wanda Lee Dyer, 80, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018, in Nashville, Tennessee. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Morrison; her mother, Etta Gertrude Strong Morrison Fleenor; her sister, Sandra Lynn Bates; her husband, Edwin R. Dyer; and her son, Patrick Scott Riley. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Bible; her son, Timothy Riley, and his wife, Dena Riley; her grandchildren, Emily Riley Howarth, Rachel Riley Smith, Kahlab Koch, and Jedidiah Koch; her great-granddaughter, Faith Koch; and a host of loving family and friends.
Wanda will be remembered fondly for her love of birds, flowers, Tennessee sports, family, friends, and country. She was a loyal friend, a loving mother, sister, and aunt, and a kind and attentive neighbor. Her presence will be missed at local GOP meetings and rallies, at her great-nephews' Little League baseball games, and around the table on special occasions (where her green beans and potato salad will also be missed).
