Warren Sexton

Warren Clayton Sexton, of Carthage, TN passed away April 17th at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his parents Powhattan Bowling Sexton and Sallie Newsom Dozier Sexton; 6 siblings, Powhattan Bowling Sexton, Jr., Margaret Gleaves, Melvin Sexton, Sarah Callis, and Frederica Newman.

Mr. Sexton is survived by his loving wife, Karen Sexton, sister, Jean Sexton; son, Stephen Sexton, daughters, Karen Strong, Sandra Goolsby; step-daughters, Michelle Garcia, Moriah Garland, Jo Megan Zeferino; grandchildren, Jonathan Sexton, Zachary Sexton, Ross Strong, Sadie Bruce, Carrie Morken, Ben Goolsby, Carson Goolsby; 6 step-grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Sexton was a 54 year employee of the John W. McDougall Company, a military veteran and patriot, craftsman builder, and avid camper and lover of the great outdoors.

Visitation for Mr. Sexton will be on Friday, April 19th, 3-8 pm and Saturday, April 20th, 10am - service time at 1pm, in the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers with honorary pallbearers to include Alec McDougall, Todd Inman, Steve Hall, and Tony Pharris. Interment will follow the service at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
