Wesley Patrick Dorton - Age 35 of Nashville, TN passed away on October 20, 2017 in Kingston Springs, TN.

Mr. Dorton is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Dorton; father, Bill Dorton and sister, Tiffany Dorton.

He is survived by his grandmother, Elfriede Patrick; sister, Amber Dorton (Vashon Covington); cousin, April Fitzgerald (Joe); second cousin's, Alexander Sain, Ashton Rice and Jo Leah Fitzgerald.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

Wesley was a kind soul and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family very much especially his sister and grandmother. He loved to fish, was a die-hard Vanderbilt football fan, he loved his Harley, was a member of the Moose Lodge #2221 and lived a simple life. Wes loved to ride for hours on his motorcycle; he told his sister that it was the only time he was truly happy. Wesley did not have children of his own, but he loved all kids especially his second cousins Alex, Ashton and Joleah. Anytime someone needed help with anything Wesley would be the first to raise his hand. We celebrate Wesley's life and find comfort in knowing he is happy now with his mom, dad, little sister and many other friends who have passed on. Always remember that smile on his face and huge personality. He will truly be missed each and every day, but we find comfort in knowing he is at peace. Anchor Down!
