Mark Oglesby, age 54, of Nashville,TN passed away on September 10, 2017. Mark is the son of Bill & Jan Oglesby and Rosemary & Perry Worley and son-in-law of Ralph and Tina (deceased) Watson. He is the beloved husband of Angie Oglesby for 29 years, loving father of Jesse (Kaitlin) Oglesby, Josh Oglesby, Matt Oglesby, and Cory (Pamela) Oglesby, devoted grandfather of the Oglesby grandchildren, Marleigh, Aliyah, Chayce, Aurora, Austyn, and Autumn. Mark is also survived by siblings Steve (DaLynn) Oglesby, Mark Bundy, Angela (Patrick) Grijalva, Bryan Worley, Annette (Mike) Buckalew,, preceded by Penny Nulf & Michele Morgan, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mark enjoyed boating and fishing and loved to take the family on boating excursions. Spending time with family, and his adored grandchildren, was his passion. Any one that knew Mark knew he was a lifelong learner and enjoyed working with his hands. He absorbed information on a host of topics and shared knowledge freely with those around him. He loved technology and enjoyed living in this Information Age. Mark served as a Cryptologic Translator for the United States Air Force for 6 years in the 1980's. He was also a graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in Electronic Engineering. At the time of his passing, Mark was working at TRC Worldwide Engineering as a Structural Steel Detailing Manager. His passion for his work was evident to all of those around him.

Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a memorial visitation on Thursday, September 14, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the West Harpeth Funeral Home & Crematory. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, at Armstrong United Methodist Church on Hwy. 40 in Marshall, IL.
