Zora Demoss

Mrs. Zora Tate DeMoss, age 82, of Nashville passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born January 7, 1936 in Hillsboro, TN to the late Forrest and Sadie Hensley Tate. Zora was a longtime member of River Road Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family while enjoying horse shows, attending barrel races, fishing, sailing and boating.

Zora is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jim DeMoss; daughter, Judy Ivey (Jim); son, Larry DeMoss (Susan); granddaughters, Apryl DeMoss Chance (Tom), Stephanie Dickerson (Chad), Lindsay Singer (Mickey), Corey Ivey and Katherine Ivey; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Norman Tate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday March 6th from 4-7 pm at River Road Church of Christ. A celebration of life funeral service will follow at 10 am with Josh Barnett officiating. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
